Bangalow Sweet Pork
Hi Joe,
I just wanted to drop you a line to give you some feedback on your pork. I bought a 2kg piece of pork on Saturday from the Mudgeeraba markets.
I have purchased your bacon and pepperoni each time the guys are there and always enjoyed it.
I went there on Saturday to buy a bone-in leg, they didn't have any but was convinced that the piece I bought, I think it was a rump, would be beautiful.
Well, that was an understatement, it was without doubt the best piece of pork I have ever eaten! It was excellent!
I cooked it in the Weber and all I did was rub a little olive oil and salt and pepper into it. It melted in our mouths ;-)
I will certainly be purchasing more of your produce in the future. I have also been raving to everyone I talk to about the flavour and quality and how beautiful it was.
Keep up the good work, it puts a lump in my throat and almost brings tears to my eyes when I think that there are still primary producers out there that have such pride and dedication to what they do, there should be so much more of this.
Well done and thank you!
Greg Jones

Subject: Ham to Die For
Hi Joe,
We have many fond memories of Bangalow spending happy hours exploring the market, shops and hinterland and then returning via the wonderful scenic road, to Byron Bay, where we spent annual holidays when the children were young.
Now, after devouring one of the 'Sweet Pork' hams, we have another reason to remember Bangalow!    An article in the Epicure section of The Age newspaper in Melbourne alerted us to this wonderful product, and I got straight on the phone to order the ham.                                  The distance to travel to collect it, the cost, the battling Christmas traffic in Toorak, the parking, the heat didn't matter when we tasted the first morsel!!  Wonderful.   Friends who had seen the article but forgot to order benefited from our purchase and we have enjoyed some wonderfully gastronomic 'ham sharing' feasts.   It is now all gone ........ the dogs have enjoyed the bones ....... and it seems a long time until next Christmas!
Just wanted you to know that it was wonderful ham.     I noticed from the map that Bangalow Pork isn't available in Victoria.   Any plans?  Although I presume that the hams will be available again through Simon Johnson outlets next year?
Good web site by the way.
Cheers.
Nola C
Melbourne.
