Bangalow Sweet Pork®

"Bangalow Sweet Pork"® Newsletter
January 2004

Dear friends of “Bangalow Sweet Pork”®,

Well, the festive season has been and gone for another 12 months, and I expect that you have all survived it and are powering on into 2004. We have survived and thanks to your loyal support we are powering on into 2004.

We have many exciting developments planned for 2004 so continue to watch this space for news on these events. This newsletter should have been December 2003, however events overtook me so I deferred it to January 2004. My apologies.

One of the most distressing problems we are experiencing, as our reputation grows, is that we are coming across more and more instances of unscrupulous retailers who are misrepresenting our registered trademark and name “Bangalow Sweet Pork”® with inferior pork. Happily many of our passionate consumers are reporting these cases to us. Now that we have access to the technology of DNA testing available to us we will start to address this matter in 2004. Any retailer found to be misrepresenting “Bangalow Sweet Pork”®, will be hearing from our solicitors who will take the necessary steps to proceed against them to the full extent of the law. The penalties for offences of this nature are significant.

We will ask your assistance in this matter by having you report any sale of pork, under our name, which you may suspect is not genuine. Your confidentially will be carefully protected if you so desire. One of the major problems is for first time customers who hear about “Bangalow Sweet Pork”® and give it a try and they are served an inferior product. They will be hugely disappointed and will probably never return to be bitten again. Help us root out the perpetrators of this unwanted practice for your protection and ours.
