Bangalow
Sweet Pork®
Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year to All. All of the consumers, chefs, food journos, and our ever loyal butchers. We have had one major change during the latter part of the year and that was the resignation of Vic’s Meats as our food service distributor for the Sydney region. As Vic’s gave us no notice nor any reason for their departure, we can only speculate. We are sure it wasn’t to procure a better quality product than Bangalow Sweet Pork ®, as there is no better product in Australia and we think the world. I suppose you all noted our recent success in the Vogue Entertaining + Travel / Audi Produce Awards for the “from the Paddock section”. Thank you Vogue, Audi and all the discerning judges. In our interpretation this equates to the best meat of any description, in Australia for 2005. We shall maintain this through 2006 and beyond. We do sincerely hope that not too many were inconvenienced by the short term interruption in supply when Vic’s resigned. It really was beyond our control and we acted as quickly as we were able to remedy the situation. We intend to open a new link on our Website for food service distributors, very soon. This link will include Cape Byron Foods in Byron Bay, Black Pearl Epicure in Brisbane, Pino’s Dolce Vita (outstanding Italian Smallgoods) in Sydney and P and A Meat Store in Adelaide. These companies have been distributing Bangalow Sweet Pork ® for many years now, as most of you will already know. We will add to this List our two new Sydney Distributors:
We are confident that the new additions to our Bangalow Sweet Pork ® team in Sydney will give you the type of service you have come to expect. Take a look through our butcher link and you will note that we are constantly adding to our retail outlets, and we are expecting many more additions nationally in 2006.Your patience and good faith will be rewarded next year. Many thanks once again, good luck. I will speak to you again in January. Best regards, Joe Byrne and all of us at the Sweet Pork Company. Tony Dunn, Melba Byrne, Judy Danvers and Jim Berting, our technical director. Jim is the one who provided us with the accurate information which appears on our new Kurobuta Pork link. Jim’s a bugger for letting the facts get in the way of a good story. He always insists on being honest and factual. |
